Gente Ayudando Gente, S.A. (People Helping People, Inc.) is a US non-profit Foundation that established a regional office in Colon, Panama in 2001 to assist the residents of Colon. In 2005 the charity established a regional office in Panama City to assist the residents in all the provinces in the Republic to improve their schools. This website is designed to demonstrate what can be accomplished when thousands of parents in each community, in order to obtain a better education for their children, work together to provide free labor to modernize and repair existing public schools. |

In 2007 the Gente Ayudando Gente Foundation of Panama was established and operated as an independent charity with separate officers and a local board of directors. This local independent Foundation has received financial assistance from the US organization and is now responsible for raising local funds to complete the work begun by the US organization.
